THE DAY OF YOUR NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT
The day of your photoshoot has arrived. We will spends about 3 to 4 hours together. I won’t spend all the time taking photographs. Most babies need a few little breaks in between for a feed, a nappy change and a little cuddle.
During the session, you are welcome to enjoy a selection of teas, coffee and snacks.
At the end we’ll photograph you as a family, including sibling portraits if you have older children.
The balance of your shoot will be due today.
VIEWING YOUR PORTRAITS
7 to 10 days after your session I’ll send you your private online gallery where you can see your fully edited gallery of photographs from your session.
Your USB will be prepared and will be delivered to you by Royal Mail and processed as “1st Class, signed for”.
Should you wish to choose albums or any other printed products this could take up to 4 to 6 weeks.

My baby is more than 2 weeks old. Is it too late for a newborn shoot?
The ideal time for newborn photographs is between 6 and 14 days of age. After 2 weeks, babies typically start to spend longer periods awake, uncurl, stretch out and grow larger.
However, it is possible to create beautiful photographs after 2 weeks of age. I photographolder babies up until 8 weeks of age.
If you have missed the 2 week window and would like to find out about your options, please get in touch.

If you baby is premature or has an extended stay in the hospital, this can be such a stressful time with recovering from the birth and adjusting to your baby’s unexpected situation.
When you are ready to consider doing your newborn images, just let me know and we can discuss the specifics of your situation. Often with premature newborn babies, we are flexible with the “optimal window”.

Can we buy the digital files?
Yes. After the session you will have the option to purchase the high resolution digital files.
