sI absolutely love newborn photography. After having my youngest daughter, my husband bought me a camera for my birthday and I started capturing our children on a proper camera. I fell in love with photography. Later on I came across the beautiful genre of newborn photography and knew that this was exactly what I was put on this earth to do.

I started seeking out the best photographers in the industry. I travelled to Kelly Ryden and Tracy Raver in Nebraska, USA and attended a 1-2-1 training with these amazing ladies focusing on newborn photography.

Since then, I have completed various newborn and baby training courses online and in person with:

Ana Brandt, Kelly Brown, Robin Long, Jinky Art Studios, Audrey Woullard

What can I do for you?

Book a 1-2-1 session and I will show you how to make the very most from your newborn photography sessions. Even if the baby is unsettled! After all the babies I have photographed, there is not much that I haven’t come across.

We will go through the basic setups and poses you’ll need to create magic for your clients. I will take you through my newborn posing process. Everything including how to pose babies, where to position the light and the best camera angles.

Safety is the most important element when handling babies. That is a priority for any newborn photographer, newborn photography training is a must.

What do I need to bring?

I have all the studio equipment needed and arrange everything to ensure you have a great day’s training.

You will need your DSLR camera and a couple of lenses (35mm or 50mm), pen and paper to make notes and wear layers and comfy clothes as it can get warm in the studio.

What will it cost?

Your training session with me is in my Edinburgh Studio and is £750 per day. Sessions are from 9:30am and ends at 5:30. Light lunch and refreshments with tea and coffee available.
